Welcome to blog pages of S P O'Neill Plumbing Heating.
We hope you find some amusing things posted here from our general day to day experiences.

Mad Times are ahead!!!???!!! ;-)

Well it's been a while since my last post, that's because we have been that busy, I haven't had the time to get things that need doing done.
With a new addition to the family, sleep has been very sporadic and that hasn't helped much.
New addition you ask??? Last April I had to have my German Shepherd crossed Doberman (Jack) put to sleep which was extremely sad for my son and I.
I had Jack for nearly 14 years and in the months that followed the house was too quiet, spooky in fact, and as Antony is off to University at the end of September, we decided that it was the right time to get a new puppy, Jasper a German Shepard, he is 9 weeks old and a little monster, you can see more of Jasper at Jasper Moonstone.co.uk.
Needless to say he's a great bundle of joy. Those that know me, know I'm a big dog lover and that not having the company at home from a little quadi-pod, has taken it's toll on me a bit.

Work is still going strong despite the "recession", at the moment we are in the middle of a big contract in London, fitting out a Skin Treatment facility, which brings me to the next bit, the first day we was there, we saw a film crew on the corner, they were filming that gocompare advert with the tenor, and right at the beginning for a split second, our big van is visible, hehe so we are on the telly!

Anyway, I must get on as Im outside on the patio trying to catch up with paperwork, and Jasper is attacking my feet, ouch LOL!

Lord Wandsworth College

Well we finally got the refurbishment finished at Lord Wandsworth College.

Im not going to say more than that, except to say when working with others, about 8 people get you name written on all tools. LOL

The Apprentice gets a Van!!!

Ok it was getting to a stage when I could do with the apprentice (Lewis), picking up materials and doing the odd small job, even carry out a power flush or two whilst I get on with something more important.

No I don't mean playing golf:)

So I bought him an Escort van, it's not that bad a condition for a 10 year old van, but times are tight and I'd rather him have a cheap runaround than a brand new van.

Anyway I get the next new van and he can upgrade to my Transit once the insurance costs drop for Lewis.
